Persian Kitten (Doll Face)

The Persian Kitten is a medium cat, quiet, living around 10–17 years. In a city where space is measured carefully, this breed asks less of a floor plan than people expect - it cares far more about whether anyone is in the room.

The real work here is seasonal. Four months of rain shape the coat care, the drying routine and the walk schedule, and a household that plans for that enjoys the cat considerably more than one surprised by it each June.

Caring for a Persian Kitten through a Mumbai year

• Monsoon: four months of rain shape the routine. Dry the cat thoroughly and never let bedding stay damp.
• Litter: one tray more than you have cats, cleaned daily and kept away from the food.
• Windows: mesh any opening above the ground floor before it arrives.
• Climbing: vertical space matters more than floor space - a shelf or tall post changes how settled an indoor cat is.
• Clinic: number saved and records kept in the same place.
