Buy Sun Conure in Khed, Pune

What is listed for Khed is what we can actually deliver. A family friendly small breed raised in this density grows up used to noise, lifts and strangers, and is calmer for it.

A Sun Conure in a Khed home

Space in Khed is measured carefully, and a small bird has to fit into a plan that was already tight. The good news is that a Sun Conure cares far less about floor area than about whether anyone is in the room. Households here manage this breed in genuinely small flats, and manage it well.

The monsoon, honestly

comfortable temperatures for most of the year make routine care straightforward Four months of the year, everything about owning a Sun Conure here is shaped by water - walks get shorter, drying becomes a daily ritual, and skin problems that would be trivial elsewhere turn stubborn if ignored. Plan for it rather than being surprised by it each June.

Choosing between breeds

If you are weighing the Sun Conure against something else, compare coat and energy rather than looks. In this climate a heavy coat is real work, and a small bird with more energy than your schedule has hours will be unhappy in a way that no amount of affection fixes.

Vets, boosters and finding help quickly

Register with a vet before you need one. In a city this size the difference between a clinic that knows your Sun Conure and one meeting it during an emergency is considerable. Do it in the first fortnight, while nothing is wrong.

Walking a small breed in a crowded city

Keep the bird on the inside, away from the road, and accept that a Khed walk is a training session rather than a stroll. A Sun Conure learns the city fast when it is walked deliberately and never learns it at all when it is dragged.

The cost, and the cost after that

From ₹10,037. Listings well below that usually turn out to be missing the health work, and the saving evaporates at the first vet visit. Budget a similar amount again for year one.

Vets, records and the monsoon

Every Sun Conure leaves with its health record complete — vaccinations, deworming and a pre-listing check. Register with a Khed vet in the first fortnight, while nothing is wrong: the difference between a clinic that knows your bird and one meeting it during an emergency is considerable.
