Buy African Grey Parrot in Erandwane, Pune
We place the African Grey Parrot across Erandwane and the wider Pune region. Every bird is vet-examined and dewormed before it travels, and you see it on a video call before anything is dispatched.
What it costs, and what it keeps costing
Budget ₹67,150 to ₹67,150 for the bird and a similar amount again for the first year. That second number is the one people forget, and it is the one that decides whether a African Grey Parrot is comfortable in your household or a strain on it.
Walking a medium breed in a crowded city
Keep the bird on the inside, away from the road, and accept that a Erandwane walk is a training session rather than a stroll. A African Grey Parrot learns the city fast when it is walked deliberately and never learns it at all when it is dragged.
The monsoon, honestly
moderate Deccan, which is a polite way of saying the rain arrives and does not leave. A medium bird coming in wet twice a day needs a towel routine and somewhere to dry that is not the bed. Fungal trouble in a African Grey Parrot starts in exactly the places you stop checking.
Choosing between breeds
If you are weighing the African Grey Parrot against something else, compare coat and energy rather than looks. In this climate a heavy coat is real work, and a medium bird with more energy than your schedule has hours will be unhappy in a way that no amount of affection fixes.
Vets, boosters and finding help quickly
Keep the vaccination card and the clinic number in the same place. A medium bird on a booster schedule needs the original dates, and the person covering for you on a weekend will need both without having to ask.
The cost, and the cost after that
From ₹67,150. Listings well below that usually turn out to be missing the health work, and the saving evaporates at the first vet visit. Budget a similar amount again for year one.
Health and handover
Vet-examined, vaccinated and dewormed before it travels, with the records handed over as originals. Keep them with the clinic number — a medium bird on a booster schedule runs off those original dates.

Care Tips for African Grey Parrot
Living with a African Grey Parrot through a Pune year comes down to water and space.
- Monsoon: rinse and dry between the pads after every walk from June. This is the one that costs a vet visit if skipped.
- Drying: somewhere that is not the bed. Four months of damp bedding causes exactly what you would expect.
- Walks: early morning for exercise, evening for company. The pavement decides, not the clock.
- Lead: loose-lead walking trained in the first three months, or argued about for 5-15 Years.
- Storage: food sealed against humidity.
