Buy Cockatiel in Dehu, Pune

What is listed for Dehu is what we can actually deliver. A gentle small breed raised in this density grows up used to noise, lifts and strangers, and is calmer for it.

The monsoon, honestly

mild tropical plateau, which is a polite way of saying the rain arrives and does not leave. A small bird coming in wet twice a day needs a towel routine and somewhere to dry that is not the bed. Fungal trouble in a Cockatiel starts in exactly the places you stop checking.

Walking a small breed in a crowded city

Early mornings are the honest answer. The pavements are passable, the surface is cool enough for paws, and a gentle Cockatiel gets to work through its energy before the day starts. Evening walks are for company rather than exercise.

Vets, boosters and finding help quickly

Every Cockatiel we place leaves with its health record complete - vaccinations, deworming and a check done before listing. It is worth reading properly rather than filing unread, because the next twelve months of scheduling run off it.

A Cockatiel in a Dehu home

The flats here are compact and the buildings are close together, which suits a gentle breed rather better than isolation would. A Cockatiel raised in this density grows up used to noise, lifts and strangers, and is calmer for it.

Choosing between breeds

Talk to us before you decide rather than after. We would rather place a different bird with you and have it work than sell you the Cockatiel you asked for and hear about it in six months.

The cost, and the cost after that

From ₹8,097. Listings well below that usually turn out to be missing the health work, and the saving evaporates at the first vet visit. Budget a similar amount again for year one.

Vets, records and the monsoon

Every Cockatiel leaves with its health record complete — vaccinations, deworming and a pre-listing check. Register with a Dehu vet in the first fortnight, while nothing is wrong: the difference between a clinic that knows your bird and one meeting it during an emergency is considerable.
