Buy Cockatiel in Deccan Gymkhana, Pune

What is listed for Deccan Gymkhana is what we can actually deliver. A cheerful small breed raised in this density grows up used to noise, lifts and strangers, and is calmer for it.

What it costs, and what it keeps costing

Budget ₹6,972 to ₹6,972 for the bird and a similar amount again for the first year. That second number is the one people forget, and it is the one that decides whether a Cockatiel is comfortable in your household or a strain on it.

The monsoon, honestly

the balanced weather is one of the easier Indian climates for pet ownership Four months of the year, everything about owning a Cockatiel here is shaped by water - walks get shorter, drying becomes a daily ritual, and skin problems that would be trivial elsewhere turn stubborn if ignored. Plan for it rather than being surprised by it each June.

Walking a small breed in a crowded city

There is no quiet route, so the training has to do the work instead. A Cockatiel that walks on a loose lead past traffic, hawkers and other dogs is a pleasure; one that pulls is a daily argument for 15-20 Years. That difference is decided in the first three months.

A Cockatiel in a Deccan Gymkhana home

People assume the constraint is square footage. It is usually storage - where the food goes, where the carrier lives, where a wet bird dries off in August. Solve those three and a Cockatiel settles into a Deccan Gymkhana flat with less friction than you would guess.

Choosing between breeds

If you are weighing the Cockatiel against something else, compare coat and energy rather than looks. In this climate a heavy coat is real work, and a small bird with more energy than your schedule has hours will be unhappy in a way that no amount of affection fixes.

Cockatiel price in Deccan Gymkhana

Between ₹6,972 and ₹6,972, the spread being mostly documentation and age. The purchase is the part you pay once — food, grooming through a humid year and routine veterinary care will each exceed it over 15-20 Years.

Vets, records and the monsoon

Every Cockatiel leaves with its health record complete — vaccinations, deworming and a pre-listing check. Register with a Deccan Gymkhana vet in the first fortnight, while nothing is wrong: the difference between a clinic that knows your bird and one meeting it during an emergency is considerable.
