What is listed for Camp is what we can actually deliver. A playful tiny breed raised in this density grows up used to noise, lifts and strangers, and is calmer for it.

A African Love Birds in a Camp home

Space in Camp is measured carefully, and a tiny bird has to fit into a plan that was already tight. The good news is that a African Love Birds cares far less about floor area than about whether anyone is in the room. Households here manage this breed in genuinely small flats, and manage it well.

Walking a tiny breed in a crowded city

There is no quiet route, so the training has to do the work instead. A African Love Birds that walks on a loose lead past traffic, hawkers and other dogs is a pleasure; one that pulls is a daily argument for 12-15 Years. That difference is decided in the first three months.

Choosing between breeds

The African Love Birds is playful and lives around 12-15 Years. Both facts should sit in the decision. A breed that suits a household at thirty may not suit the same household at forty, and this is a long commitment in a city that moves people around.

Vets, boosters and finding help quickly

Keep the vaccination card and the clinic number in the same place. A tiny bird on a booster schedule needs the original dates, and the person covering for you on a weekend will need both without having to ask.

What it costs, and what it keeps costing

Budget ₹3,838 to ₹3,838 for the bird and a similar amount again for the first year. That second number is the one people forget, and it is the one that decides whether a African Love Birds is comfortable in your household or a strain on it.

The cost, and the cost after that

From ₹3,838. Listings well below that usually turn out to be missing the health work, and the saving evaporates at the first vet visit. Budget a similar amount again for year one.

Vets, records and the monsoon

Every African Love Birds leaves with its health record complete — vaccinations, deworming and a pre-listing check. Register with a Camp vet in the first fortnight, while nothing is wrong: the difference between a clinic that knows your bird and one meeting it during an emergency is considerable.
