What is listed for Upper Parel is what we can actually deliver. A family friendly medium breed raised in this density grows up used to noise, lifts and strangers, and is calmer for it.

Choosing between breeds

The African Grey Parrot is family friendly and lives around 5-15 Years. Both facts should sit in the decision. A breed that suits a household at thirty may not suit the same household at forty, and this is a long commitment in a city that moves people around.

Walking a medium breed in a crowded city

Keep the bird on the inside, away from the road, and accept that a Upper Parel walk is a training session rather than a stroll. A African Grey Parrot learns the city fast when it is walked deliberately and never learns it at all when it is dragged.

Vets, boosters and finding help quickly

Register with a vet before you need one. In a city this size the difference between a clinic that knows your African Grey Parrot and one meeting it during an emergency is considerable. Do it in the first fortnight, while nothing is wrong.

A African Grey Parrot in a Upper Parel home

Space in Upper Parel is measured carefully, and a medium bird has to fit into a plan that was already tight. The good news is that a African Grey Parrot cares far less about floor area than about whether anyone is in the room. Households here manage this breed in genuinely small flats, and manage it well.

What it costs, and what it keeps costing

Budget ₹67,150 to ₹67,150 for the bird and a similar amount again for the first year. That second number is the one people forget, and it is the one that decides whether a African Grey Parrot is comfortable in your household or a strain on it.

Between ₹67,150 and ₹67,150, the spread being mostly documentation and age. The purchase is the part you pay once — food, grooming through a humid year and routine veterinary care will each exceed it over 5-15 Years.

Health and handover

Vet-examined, vaccinated and dewormed before it travels, with the records handed over as originals. Keep them with the clinic number — a medium bird on a booster schedule runs off those original dates.
