We place the Cockatiel across Nariman Point and the wider Mumbai region. Every bird is vet-examined and dewormed before it travels, and you see it on a video call before anything is dispatched.

Walking a small breed in a crowded city

Early mornings are the honest answer. The pavements are passable, the surface is cool enough for paws, and a gentle Cockatiel gets to work through its energy before the day starts. Evening walks are for company rather than exercise.

The monsoon, honestly

pleasant semi-tropical, which is a polite way of saying the rain arrives and does not leave. A small bird coming in wet twice a day needs a towel routine and somewhere to dry that is not the bed. Fungal trouble in a Cockatiel starts in exactly the places you stop checking.

What it costs, and what it keeps costing

A Cockatiel here starts around ₹3,078 and runs to about ₹3,078, and the spread is mostly documentation and age. The purchase, though, is the part you only pay once. Food, grooming through a humid year and routine veterinary care will each exceed it over 15-20 Years.

A Cockatiel in a Nariman Point home

People assume the constraint is square footage. It is usually storage - where the food goes, where the carrier lives, where a wet bird dries off in August. Solve those three and a Cockatiel settles into a Nariman Point flat with less friction than you would guess.

Choosing between breeds

Talk to us before you decide rather than after. We would rather place a different bird with you and have it work than sell you the Cockatiel you asked for and hear about it in six months.

Health and handover

Vet-examined, vaccinated and dewormed before it travels, with the records handed over as originals. Keep them with the clinic number — a small bird on a booster schedule runs off those original dates.
