Buy Cockatiel in Bangur Nagar, Mumbai

What is listed for Bangur Nagar is what we can actually deliver. A calm small breed raised in this density grows up used to noise, lifts and strangers, and is calmer for it.

What it costs, and what it keeps costing

From ₹4,841. Listings well below that usually turn out to be missing the health work, and the saving evaporates at the first vet visit. We would rather quote the real figure and explain what is in it.

A Cockatiel in a Bangur Nagar home

People assume the constraint is square footage. It is usually storage - where the food goes, where the carrier lives, where a wet bird dries off in August. Solve those three and a Cockatiel settles into a Bangur Nagar flat with less friction than you would guess.

Choosing between breeds

If you are weighing the Cockatiel against something else, compare coat and energy rather than looks. In this climate a heavy coat is real work, and a small bird with more energy than your schedule has hours will be unhappy in a way that no amount of affection fixes.

Vets, boosters and finding help quickly

Keep the vaccination card and the clinic number in the same place. A small bird on a booster schedule needs the original dates, and the person covering for you on a weekend will need both without having to ask.

Walking a small breed in a crowded city

Early mornings are the honest answer. The pavements are passable, the surface is cool enough for paws, and a calm Cockatiel gets to work through its energy before the day starts. Evening walks are for company rather than exercise.

The cost, and the cost after that

From ₹4,841. Listings well below that usually turn out to be missing the health work, and the saving evaporates at the first vet visit. Budget a similar amount again for year one.

Vets, records and the monsoon

Every Cockatiel leaves with its health record complete — vaccinations, deworming and a pre-listing check. Register with a Bangur Nagar vet in the first fortnight, while nothing is wrong: the difference between a clinic that knows your bird and one meeting it during an emergency is considerable.
