Buy Shih Tzu in Shirwal, Pune

We place the Shih Tzu across Shirwal and the wider Pune region. Every dog is vet-examined and dewormed before it travels, and you see it on a video call before anything is dispatched.

Walking a small breed in a crowded city

Early mornings are the honest answer. The pavements are passable, the surface is cool enough for paws, and a bold Shih Tzu gets to work through its energy before the day starts. Evening walks are for company rather than exercise.

Vets, boosters and finding help quickly

Keep the vaccination card and the clinic number in the same place. A small dog on a booster schedule needs the original dates, and the person covering for you on a weekend will need both without having to ask.

Choosing between breeds

If you are weighing the Shih Tzu against something else, compare coat and energy rather than looks. In this climate a heavy coat is real work, and a small dog with more energy than your schedule has hours will be unhappy in a way that no amount of affection fixes.

A Shih Tzu in a Shirwal home

People assume the constraint is square footage. It is usually storage - where the food goes, where the carrier lives, where a wet dog dries off in August. Solve those three and a Shih Tzu settles into a Shirwal flat with less friction than you would guess.

The monsoon, honestly

comfortable temperatures for most of the year make routine care straightforward Four months of the year, everything about owning a Shih Tzu here is shaped by water - walks get shorter, drying becomes a daily ritual, and skin problems that would be trivial elsewhere turn stubborn if ignored. Plan for it rather than being surprised by it each June.

The cost, and the cost after that

From ₹24,438. Listings well below that usually turn out to be missing the health work, and the saving evaporates at the first vet visit. Budget a similar amount again for year one.

Vets, records and the monsoon

Every Shih Tzu leaves with its health record complete — vaccinations, deworming and a pre-listing check. Register with a Shirwal vet in the first fortnight, while nothing is wrong: the difference between a clinic that knows your dog and one meeting it during an emergency is considerable.
