Buy Shih Tzu in Rasta Peth, Pune

What is listed for Rasta Peth is what we can actually deliver. A playful small breed raised in this density grows up used to noise, lifts and strangers, and is calmer for it.

A Shih Tzu in a Rasta Peth home

Space in Rasta Peth is measured carefully, and a small dog has to fit into a plan that was already tight. The good news is that a Shih Tzu cares far less about floor area than about whether anyone is in the room. Households here manage this breed in genuinely small flats, and manage it well.

Vets, boosters and finding help quickly

Keep the vaccination card and the clinic number in the same place. A small dog on a booster schedule needs the original dates, and the person covering for you on a weekend will need both without having to ask.

Choosing between breeds

If you are weighing the Shih Tzu against something else, compare coat and energy rather than looks. In this climate a heavy coat is real work, and a small dog with more energy than your schedule has hours will be unhappy in a way that no amount of affection fixes.

What it costs, and what it keeps costing

From ₹23,912. Listings well below that usually turn out to be missing the health work, and the saving evaporates at the first vet visit. We would rather quote the real figure and explain what is in it.

Walking a small breed in a crowded city

Keep the dog on the inside, away from the road, and accept that a Rasta Peth walk is a training session rather than a stroll. A Shih Tzu learns the city fast when it is walked deliberately and never learns it at all when it is dragged.

The cost, and the cost after that

From ₹23,912. Listings well below that usually turn out to be missing the health work, and the saving evaporates at the first vet visit. Budget a similar amount again for year one.

Health and handover

Vet-examined, vaccinated and dewormed before it travels, with the records handed over as originals. Keep them with the clinic number — a small dog on a booster schedule runs off those original dates.
