We place the Shih Tzu across Pimpri and the wider Pune region. Every dog is vet-examined and dewormed before it travels, and you see it on a video call before anything is dispatched.

A Shih Tzu in a Pimpri home

People assume the constraint is square footage. It is usually storage - where the food goes, where the carrier lives, where a wet dog dries off in August. Solve those three and a Shih Tzu settles into a Pimpri flat with less friction than you would guess.

Walking a small breed in a crowded city

Early mornings are the honest answer. The pavements are passable, the surface is cool enough for paws, and a playful Shih Tzu gets to work through its energy before the day starts. Evening walks are for company rather than exercise.

What it costs, and what it keeps costing

A Shih Tzu here starts around ₹24,227 and runs to about ₹24,227, and the spread is mostly documentation and age. The purchase, though, is the part you only pay once. Food, grooming through a humid year and routine veterinary care will each exceed it over 10-16 Years.

The monsoon, honestly

the plateau climate is relatively moderate, which suits a wide range of breeds Four months of the year, everything about owning a Shih Tzu here is shaped by water - walks get shorter, drying becomes a daily ritual, and skin problems that would be trivial elsewhere turn stubborn if ignored. Plan for it rather than being surprised by it each June.

Choosing between breeds

Talk to us before you decide rather than after. We would rather place a different dog with you and have it work than sell you the Shih Tzu you asked for and hear about it in six months.

The cost, and the cost after that

From ₹24,227. Listings well below that usually turn out to be missing the health work, and the saving evaporates at the first vet visit. Budget a similar amount again for year one.

Vets, records and the monsoon

Every Shih Tzu leaves with its health record complete — vaccinations, deworming and a pre-listing check. Register with a Pimpri vet in the first fortnight, while nothing is wrong: the difference between a clinic that knows your dog and one meeting it during an emergency is considerable.
