Walking a giant breed in a crowded city

Early mornings are the honest answer. The pavements are passable, the surface is cool enough for paws, and a family friendly French Mastiff Puppy gets to work through its energy before the day starts. Evening walks are for company rather than exercise.

Vets, boosters and finding help quickly

Keep the vaccination card and the clinic number in the same place. A giant dog on a booster schedule needs the original dates, and the person covering for you on a weekend will need both without having to ask.

Choosing between breeds

If you are weighing the French Mastiff Puppy against something else, compare coat and energy rather than looks. In this climate a heavy coat is real work, and a giant dog with more energy than your schedule has hours will be unhappy in a way that no amount of affection fixes.

The monsoon, honestly

Ask anyone who has raised a French Mastiff Puppy through a Mumbai monsoon and they will mention the paws first. the plateau climate is relatively moderate, which suits a wide range of breeds Rinse and dry between the pads after every walk from June onward. It takes a minute and prevents the thing that costs a vet visit.

The cost, and the cost after that

From ₹47,125. Listings well below that usually turn out to be missing the health work, and the saving evaporates at the first vet visit. Budget a similar amount again for year one.

Health and handover

Vet-examined, vaccinated and dewormed before it travels, with the records handed over as originals. Keep them with the clinic number — a giant dog on a booster schedule runs off those original dates.
