Buy Shih Tzu in Breach Candy, Mumbai

What is listed for Breach Candy is what we can actually deliver. A playful small breed raised in this density grows up used to noise, lifts and strangers, and is calmer for it.

Vets, boosters and finding help quickly

Keep the vaccination card and the clinic number in the same place. A small dog on a booster schedule needs the original dates, and the person covering for you on a weekend will need both without having to ask.

Choosing between breeds

If you are weighing the Shih Tzu against something else, compare coat and energy rather than looks. In this climate a heavy coat is real work, and a small dog with more energy than your schedule has hours will be unhappy in a way that no amount of affection fixes.

The monsoon, honestly

pleasant semi-tropical, which is a polite way of saying the rain arrives and does not leave. A small dog coming in wet twice a day needs a towel routine and somewhere to dry that is not the bed. Fungal trouble in a Shih Tzu starts in exactly the places you stop checking.

Walking a small breed in a crowded city

Keep the dog on the inside, away from the road, and accept that a Breach Candy walk is a training session rather than a stroll. A Shih Tzu learns the city fast when it is walked deliberately and never learns it at all when it is dragged.

What it costs, and what it keeps costing

A Shih Tzu here starts around ₹23,912 and runs to about ₹23,912, and the spread is mostly documentation and age. The purchase, though, is the part you only pay once. Food, grooming through a humid year and routine veterinary care will each exceed it over 10-16 Years.

The cost, and the cost after that

From ₹23,912. Listings well below that usually turn out to be missing the health work, and the saving evaporates at the first vet visit. Budget a similar amount again for year one.

Vets, records and the monsoon

Every Shih Tzu leaves with its health record complete — vaccinations, deworming and a pre-listing check. Register with a Breach Candy vet in the first fortnight, while nothing is wrong: the difference between a clinic that knows your dog and one meeting it during an emergency is considerable.
